Description
Traditional semi-matured pecorino cheese with a small size of 1 kg and a typical brown rind obtained through treatment with olive oil grounds. The paste is semi-hard, smooth and doughy; it has limited holes and a straw-yellow colour. The flavour is balanced with a medium sapidity.
Ingredients
Pasteurized sheep's milk, Volterra salt, rennet, lactic ferments. Surface treated with olive oil grounds and preservatives E235, E202.
