The Pistachio produced by Busti Formaggi is a semi-hard cheese made with pasteurized sheep's milk. What makes this pecorino unique and unmistakable is the addition of pistachios to the pasta, thus obtaining a truly tasty and particular result. This pecorino, in fact, is produced exclusively with fine pistachios from Bronte (Catania), which make it one of the most popular cheeses of the entire family of delights. The presence of pistachios, then, makes Il Pistacchio cheese particularly suitable to be served as an aperitif or appetizer. It is therefore usually served on the cutting board, accompanied by other cheeses, cold cuts, cold cuts, toasted bread and honey or jams. To top it all off, a good glass of red wine.
